 1. Html stands for hyper text mark up language. Powel used the wrapping paper metaphor to describe how html works. Html operates through the use of tags. 2. When starting, you get a blank page, you have to create your file first then make he project. Everything goes into triangle brackets <>, always start document with whatever html you choose to use. Head doesn't show up on screen but body does. 3. Paragraph tag is <p> and end paragraph is </p>, changes the line of text. Heading tags change the size of text. There is only <h1>, <h2> that follow this pattern not <p1>.  4. <strong> makes it bold. <em> makes it italic. Dont use <b> <i> shows up as bold and italic but doesn't show the importance.  5. href= https:// "website" to get an active link. <a href ="file name" to link thing from in the website.
